We start with custom-built servers featuring RAID mirroring for improved stability and speed. For connections, each data center utilizes at least three backbone providers for redundancy, connecting through either GigE or direct-fiber optic connections. Each GigE line is 1,000 times faster than the T-1 lines used by many hosting providers. We connect only to Tier-1 providers, meaning faster load times for your end users. Our connections are to Shaw, Telus, Allegiance, Global Crossing, AT&T, AboveNet, Savvis, Verio, Level 3, and Time-Warner. Both centers feature a 24/7 on-site staff who are monitoring our servers for any problems. Each center has dual power feeds, battery and generator backup systems, redundant cooling systems, and zone-controlled waterless fire suppression systems.
